Our Mission
The mission statement of the Central City Police Department is to reduce crime, establish a positive rapport with the community, instill a professional attitude and a desire to improve our services to the city. We constantly strive to improve and perform to the highest standards demanded by an innovative and progressive police department.
Our police department is comprised of twelve full time officers, a part-time narcotics officer and a part-time school resource officer. Each of our officers are academy certified by completing a twenty two week training academy at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice facility in Richmond, KY.
